Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a similar role. Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their core services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go. Deep understanding of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, CloudWatch).
- Solid knowledge of networking, security best practices, and system administration (Linux/Unix). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in production environments. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-function.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable, and automated software deployments. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance, availability, and security using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features. Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure system reliability and scalability by implementing best practices for high availability, disaster recovery, and fault tolerance. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging DevOps tools, trends, and technologies to drive continuous improvement. Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 system availability.
