Requirements

  • QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in front-end web development.

  • HTML/CSS EXPERTISE

    • Strong understanding of HTML semantics, WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards, and ARIA best practices.
    • Advanced CSS3 skills, including animations, transitions, and transformations.
    • Mastery of responsive design and mobile-first approach.
    • Expertise in modern CSS techniques, including Flexbox, Grid, and responsive design.
    • Experience with CSS preprocessors (Sass/Less).
    • Proficiency in CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS).
    • Deep understanding of technical SEO principles and their implementation in the front-end codebase, including Core Web Vitals.
    • Deep understanding of browser rendering and optimization.
    • Experience with Page Speed Optimization.

  • JAVASCRIPT EXPERTISE

    • Strong foundation in modern JavaScript (ES6+).
    • Experience with TypeScript for type-safe development.
    • Ability to write clean, efficient JavaScript without heavy framework dependencies.
    • Experience integrating with remote data through RESTful APIs and handling JSON.

  • UX/UI DESIGN KNOWLEDGE

    • Understanding of UX/UI design principles.
    • Knowledge of visual hierarchy and composition.
    • Understanding of color theory and typography principles.
    • Ability to implement intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
    • Experience with responsive and adaptive design patterns.

  • QUALITY ASSURANCE

    • Experience with cross-browser testing.
    • Understanding of A/B testing methodologies.

  • OTHER SKILLS

    • Solid understanding of the full web development lifecycle.
    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
    • Exceptional debugging and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of resolving complex issues.
    • Proficiency with Git version control.
    • Experience with code quality tools (ESLint, Prettier).
    • Familiarity with collaboration platforms (GitHub, GitLab).

  • Nice to have

    • Experience in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
    • Understanding of various rendering strategies (CSR, SSR, ISR, SWR, SSG).
    • Experience in unit testing (Jest, Mocha).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement semantic HTML and advanced CSS features, including responsive design, Flexbox, Grid, and CSS preprocessors
  • Develop and maintain responsive, accessible web interfaces using semantic HTML and modern CSS
  • Implementing clean, modular, and maintainable CSS code using best practices and modern CSS techniques
  • Ensure accessibility and SEO best practices are met, including WCAG, ARIA, screen readers, and Core Web Vitals
  • Optimizing front-end assets and code for improved website performance and technical SEO
  • Optimize web performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility
  • Implement user interface components and interactions using vanilla JavaScript
  • Write and maintain scalable applications using modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
  • Conduct frontend performance audits and optimizations
  • Ensure design elements adhere to brand guidelines and provide a consistent user experience across the application
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards
  • Manage version control using Git and follow GitHub/GitLab workflows
  • Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies and industry trends to continually improve and innovate
